Heading out next week and trying to find Thursday evening ride
Anyone help out?
A little south of Cbad but the fiesta island world championships are held every Thursday night.
Go a day early and you can do the famous wednesday ride. Goes right though carlsbad and heads north to san clemente and back. It is usually like a 1/2/3/4/5 race all combined, so always someone to ride with no matter your abilities, just be comfortable in packs going fast…

Where are you headed out from? There are a dozen+ hard Thursday evening road rides in SoCal.

i am staying in Carlsbad but can drive anywhere nearby to ride from.

There is a Swami’s morning ride called the Gene Kelly ride on Tues and Thurs mornings that rides through Carlsbad. Starts on the corner of La Costa and El Camino Real. Usually starts at 6:30, but might be starting at 6:45 for Daylight Savings.
It’s a fast ride, with some hard efforts and generally a pretty big group.

No need to drive anywhere, you’re in the heart of a cyclists’ playground.
I second the Wednesday “Reynolds” ride suggestion that now goes through the Marine base and back.
I’ll be there this Wednesday for the first time in a couple years if it isn’t raining.
