There are tons of reviews about the china carbon clinchers, but not a ton of info on the ones with alloy brake tracks??

Does anybody have these? Are they new? Not much at all when I search google, but the eBay reviews seem really good.
I’m guessing these are too new?

I have them, bought rims only. Having them built with Chris king hubs. Should be done today or tomorrow.

Do the spokes connect to the alloy part of the rim? In some of the pictures it looks like the spokes connect to the carbon fiber. Which is different than Flo and HED wheels? Thanks!

No, they are similar to Zipp. Spoke connects to rim at carbon. The carbon is structural not a fairing.

Great info thanks!
I wonder what the pros and cons of that are? I’m sure it’s covered in other threads. I’ll look.
Those are pretty darn cheap.

I have them. I’ve yet to ride them though.
One thing, they came out of true… Not a big deal, would have had them worked over anyway… But they seem to be very good quality overall. I’ll report back once I ride on them.
They arrived in true, you haven’t ridden them yet, and they’re now out of true?

No, sorry. Should have been clearer.
They arrived (from China), very out of true. Though in all honestly, I wasn’t expecting them to be. Just though it was worth mentioning, to set expectations for others.
OK thanks for the clarification. Let us know how true they stay after some miles.
