I have a nearly new pair of bar mitts that i’m not using. I say ‘nearly new’ because I honestly can’t remember if i ever opened them up. They still have the tag, so i’m pretty sure they’re unused. I originally bought 2 pairs, not knowing which size I wanted. I was happy with the other pair, so I think I may have installed these to see how they fit, but didn’t ride with them outside.

Hi… I think these mitts are usually meant for bikes with internal cable routing. My cables don’t run back under the bar tape (they stick out and loop down). Do these mitts have the ability to be used on a bike like mine with the external cables?

My pair is meant for external or internal cable wiring. For external wiring, the cable will run through the slot at the bottom of the zipper. It’s hard to describe, but this picture should help explain.
They also still work for internal wiring. Think of the zippers as a little vent for your hands. The mitts are actually super warm, sometimes i’d open the zipper to get some cool air into them.
