Giro Air Attack fit question

This may be a stupid question. I haven’t found a Giro Air Attack in stock at any shops near me to try on and my question is simple. Does is sit lower on your head like an advantage or higher like an ionos? I use those 2 helmets as examples because I have them and like the way the advantage fits and hate the way the ionos fits. I feel like the ionos sits too high on top of my head. Thanks.

In my opinion the Attack sits nice and low. Almost form fitting. But you’ll probably have others say the opposite too.

I have one and it sits fairly low. You can make angular adjustments that change the angle it sits on your head. This is particularly important if you are going for the air attack shield.

Ok, well I must be the odd ball, because I think it sits high on my head, to the point that I looked for pictures on the internet to see if it was too high on my head, especially around the ears. My head is on the border between med and large, though, and I chose med., so maybe that explains it.

This is def a Med vs LG issue. I too am between sizes and I originally purchased a LG which fell a little too low (and loose). In fact it was so low that the shield was too close to my nose (popped off during a race - Giro replaced visor). I switched to a Med and it was higher on my forehead, but more snug when adjusted (which I liked).

Definitely so, I agree. I preferred the awkward “is it too small?” of the medium to the “definitely too big” of the large. As I looked at pictures of pro riders, though, I found that their helmets sat like mine did, and felt better about it.
