Hearing rumors of this from people who are involved with the race. They’re almost certainly cancelling the swim, but possibly the entire event. Really sucks.

I am in Dallas but was going to drive down for the race I called my friend in the coast guard when I heard the news and based on what she’s saying as it looks now any water events in the area probably wont take place until they know everything has been contained
