Head First: 81 Mile Cycle & Trying an Altitude Mask

Hi all -

So first event of my racing calendar was Saturday last. It was the Hell of Hunterdon. An 81 mile event, I’m not going to say race because it’s not. It’s more of a way to dust the cobwebs off early in the year. I make it sound easy, it’s not, or at least I didn’t find it easy. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed it immensely. But I was one happy little man when I got to the finish.

Also tried out an altitude mask a few days ago (that was crazy). I am documenting all this on my blog is you have a second to take a look, you can also find my equipment on there:

Cheers,

Those altitude masks are amazing! You should also check out magnetic bracelets. I have them on both wrists, it has done wonders for my balance and recovery.

Here’s me training for a half marathon in my mask. It’s hard to see, but my special bracelets are under my weightlifting gloves (I like to keep my hands soft.)
