After trying them on I bought the Bondi 3’s, 1/2 size down from normal (Asics, Kayano). Heel is a bit loose. Tolerable (45 mins, no blisters) and I seemed to “settle in” by the end of the run.
Probably give them another shot, but I’m wondering if anyone had the same issue and/or can compare to the Bondi 2’s or Conquest.
I went from the Bondi 2 to the Conquest. The Conquest are tearing up my feet. Never had that problem with the Bondis. I think I will go back and get the Bondi 3
I got a pair of Stinson’s that are true to my normal size and there is definitely a lot of room in them. I only ran in them twice so I can’t give a good review since I’ve been avoiding running rehabbing an injury, but I can say that they are great for walking around in. Such a soft ride.
I assumed they were roomy for the fact that they were designed for feet to swell a little bit during long runs…or should I consider going a half size down? I doubt many shoes are designed with the concept of the shoe being used for 50 to 100 mile ultra runs.

That’s good know, thanks. I think I can make them a little tighter and perhaps wear some heavier socks.
I use Stinsons for the most part though I have a pair of both the Bondi 2’s and Conquests. I found the Stinson’s really annoying and odd for the first few runs. Odd enough feeling that I stopped using them for a couple of months. I came back after a break and just stuck with them for a week or two and now will not run in anything else (save the occasional Bondi run)

Exactly my experience with the Bondi 3. I started off with Stinson Tarmac. Bondi 3’s were very loose in heel (side to side play). Sent them back and got the Conquest. A little less plush, but fits my heel much better.
I’m in the Bondi 3 and found I needed to go up half a size from my regular trainers. I’m a size & half up from barefoot measurement now. Anything smaller was killing my toes. I’m not too enamoured with the speed laces and changed to the regular lace to wrap the shoe in nicely.

This is my experience. My true to size 12 Bondi 3s are a tad too loose in the heel. Tried a 1/2 size down, toes crunched up so that didn’t work. I’ve been doing my weekly short runs in the Hokas, doesn’t seem to be much of an issue but it’s not an ideal fit for me

Yeah, I’m wondering if this will do the trick. I don’t tri, so other than convenience, I don’t need the speed laces.

I’ve got about 50 miles in my Conquest. It is true to my 9.5 size in Brooks but is a bit loose in the heel. I am also going to remove the speed laces and try the standard laces this weekend. I think they will lock in my heel better.

Funny thing is I went to Road Runner and the guy had me in the Conquests telling me they were the Bondi’s. The place was packed and the service sucked, so I left. Went home and ordered the Bondi’s anyway. Now wishing I would’ve just bought the friggin Conquests while I was there!

Did the same with my Conquests. I did one short run and my heel was all over the place, I tightened up the speed laces and then they were too narrow across the ball of my foot. Cut the speed laces, put in the regular laces and all is good.
I had to go down a half size in the Bondi 3’s from what I normally am in the Newtons. They fit well but they’re the first shoe I can’t run sockless in without getting a blister. Small compromise for a great shoe.
