Anyone know the expected date for next year? I really like this race and hope it falls within my kids Spring Break next year.
I dont know the date either and hoping to get in on this post. I’m also wondering if anyone knows when registration will open? I know it can fill pretty quick.

If I remember, the registration for 2014 opened in June 2013, at least that is when I registered. I think it does sell out but there usually is time to get in if you want to.
I registered on June 15th last year. I think that was the day it opened. It does sell out within a month now. Used to (5-6 years ago) not sell out for at least 6 months.

Last year was what July? Every year prior I signed up in September (3 years) and it sold out sometime late sept early oct.
Date - I put my money on 3/28/15

Chris, are you saying it won’t sell out until the day before the race, or are you trying to deflect interest?

Yeah, I am going Against The Grain here, you heard it here first: Oceanside 2015 will NOT sellout. So everyone can put their CCs away, nothing to see here folks. :). July sellout for 2013 came as a bit of a shock but I was looking for something different this year. But damn you guys had some great weather. Hopefully the trend holds for 2015
The date was my prediction for race date for the OP, not sellout.

Yep same here - kinda suprised that WTC does have some sort of subscription option that would tell you when a particular race will open.

Awesome. One of my bucket list items (Truk specifically). Done Belize & GBR as well as lots of diving around Kona. Micronesia & Palau are supposed to be terrific.
Oh, and I’m in for O-side. This will be my 3rd time for this race (did '09 & '10)

I’ve done Palau and Yap before, so I already know that as cool as O Side is, Palau is better (not a big wreck diver so Truk doesn’t hold as much sway).
A little (tiny bit) bummed as I took 2013 off from oceanside to do other races, looks like I’ll have to wait until 2016 to return.
It’s still a great race and looks quite different from the last time you did it.

Well, it switched to a point to point in 2012… so 2012 was much different than 2011
