Internal routing road bars - Sram 11sp

I’ve got a set of carbon road bars (Profile Canta Ergo) that are ‘internally routed,’ meaning they have holes right before the ergo top turns into a 31.8 clamping section for housing exit, on the underside, and on the inside of the tops, for entry, right before the hood area turns into the flat top section.

Problem is, with Sram 11sp, housing needs to be on both sides, so I’m guessing I’m going to have to leave something external here, most likely the derailleur housing b/c it’s on the outer part of the shifter body.

I know others have had this issue, I’ve seen it discussed with regards to the Vukasprint. Looking for workaround ideas, or else just tell me to run external & deal with it.

Thanks.

Maybe I am reading your post incorrectly, but take another look at your shifters. The plastic shifter body has two options for routing the derailleur housing (i.e. a fork in the road). You should be able to run it so both brake and derailleur exit on the inboard side.
