Hey ST’ers- i am Secretary of the local Lions Club and we are organizing our annual fundraiser- the person who was going to help us in a tech sense seems to be too busy.
So here is the issue - I have a jpeg or pdf file of the invitation to our fundraiser- but we need to embed a link to our Lions club website for people to get tickets or make a donation – so I need help is getting the said link embedded… Please email me at graham@thewilsongroup.biz if you can help— thanks so much.

If you want to simply use a Jpeg as a hyperlink that’s very easy. If you want a picture to be embedded with a link that’s isn’t possible.
You’re barking up the right tree with a PDF but you’ll need PDF editing software.
Thanks - the jpeg is an invitaion to the gala- I need to put in a live link to our web page for people to pay via paypal… on the jpeg invitation
Think of it this way… A JPEG is just content. You can’t code a JPEG to do something.
You can put that JPEG in a PDF and code the PDF to use the JPEG as a hyperlink though.
