When will people learn that abstinence only education is not effective? Mississippi has abysmal teen pregnancy rates and std rates compared to the rest of the country. Here is their solution…
"The curricula adopted by the school district in Oxford called on students to unwrap a piece of chocolate, pass it around class and observe how dirty it became.
“They’re using the Peppermint Pattie to show that a girl is no longer clean or valuable after she’s had sex — that she’s been used,” said Barnard, who works in public health. “That shouldn’t be the lesson we send kids about sex.”
Girls are dirty filthy useless whores after everyone touches them! Wtf!?
A piece of chocolate? Facepalm. Yeah while trying to promote abstinence to teenagers whose hormones are raging like a Cat 1 hurricane, let’s use the inherently erotic symbolism of chocolate. Good idea.

The eroticism of chocolate doesn’t help their cause, but it seems that the chocolate gag would have been far more effective if the males in the classroom were instructed to ejaculate on it before passing it along. Clearly, no girl wants to be thought of as a dirty, used piece of chocolate, but guys have a high tolerance for bad reputations. On the other hand, no one (in their right mind) will go near a dirty, used piece of chocolate that is covered in jizz.

What’s wrong with PP?
Sounds like these educators thought long and hard about what kind of candy would be the demo model. A tootsie roll will do double duty later in the term.
Yeah, let’s further degrade their already low self esteem. That way they are so much easier to exploit once they turn 18! Channeling Matthew McConaughey “I get older, they stay the same age!” These damaged goods sure are great in the sack!
