He’s going to be charged as an adult. I’ll tell you who should be charged; the security guards who weren’t watching, that’s who! My first day there, they spent the whole day telling me about the security; ‘‘Don’t try anything in here, you will always be on camera’’ ‘‘We’re constantly checking our security’’ ‘‘No one can get in here without us knowing’’ While I was there, one worker was caught climbing over the fence because he forgot his pass and didn’t want to go home to get it. He was fired and not allowed on any Port Authority jobs again.
This kid slipped through a gap in the fence, climbed a scaffold, took an elevator and stairs then climbed the ladder to the top. All with no one noticing for two hours.
On the news this morning they said that the authorities are investigating why he did it. He did it because he’s a kid and he was able to.
He should absolutely be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Security State’s imagination. Just think about all of the people that he could have harmed if his motives were malicious. All of those theoretical people … dead. We must pin all of those fake, dead people on him, and show an equivalent lack of mercy.
I thought we all just agreed that we should encourage our kids to embrace risk and be independent.
That’s so 1776, 1861, 1890, 1920, 1950, 1968, and 1982. Today we’ve all agreed that we should encourage our kids to embrace conformity and to be followers.

He should be given a semen facial?
To be perfectly honest, I can’t answer your question because I’ve avoided opening that thread.
The security guards should be charged? Really? Here is the problem:
Scrawny, 16-year-old Justin Casquejo crawled through a hole in a Ground Zero fence at about 4 a.m. Sunday and got a lift up the tower from a clueless union elevator operator, even though he had no ID.

Not only that but also:
The elevator operator who asked no questions while taking him skyward has since been reassigned — but got to keep his job because of his hardhat union.
Seriously, the Dept. of Homeland Security should pay this kid for finding a breach. Then they should hire him on and send him around the country to other “secure sites”, airports, border crossings, etc. and tell him he needs to try to get past security. They could learn a lot from him and since his motives were those of a typical teenage kid, and not malicious nor anti-Amerrr’can, he should be praised.
Then again, he’s not white, so they’re gonna throw the book at him. If he were white, we’d know it was just innocent teenage curiosity and balls. Not white = some nefarious motives for sure! I mean, just LOOK at that face… it screams guilty evil doer!
I do feel really bad for him. I did stuff “like this” when I was a kid and I can remember a rare occasion getting caught and holy shit that was scary. Lucky for me I was under 18 so nothing stuck. It’s fucked up if they charge him as an adult. He made a typical-kid bad decision.
I went on his twitter feed, he has people tweeting at him that he should get the death penalty.
The death penalty… yeah…
Par example… @Ryank156: @JustinCasquejo@kittyashleyyy Imma kick your ass for climbing that building. U deserve to be arrested and get the death penalty. So fu!!!
Wow, just wow. Makes you proud to be an Amerrrr’can.
I don’t know anything about Twtter. How do I get to his sight to give him some support. This kids just doing what kids do. It’s a little embarrassing that he’s from Jersey but what the heck, I’m still in his corner.
I remember my orientation instructor who was from somewhere in Texas, telling us how much better his kids were compared to the city kids because they knew how to hunt and fish and shoot. I told him “you stick any city kid down there and in one week he’ll be taking their lunch money and in two weeks he’ll be f@cking their girlfriends!”

Anyone else see the irony in this situation and naming the building the “Freedom Tower”?
I didn’t think of it as “irony,” but I did think about the connection. Although I don’t condone what he did, it does show a certain independence of spirit, and if I were judging the case I would probably treat it somewhat leniently.

So, it probably wasn’t you sending death penalty and terrorist remarks through Twitter, then?
