NY Marathon Lottery

Hey guys,

So the NY marathon lottery is due to take place tonight (Australian time) - thought I would start a celebration/comiseration thread!

First time I have entered the lottery, so definitely not hopeful - but good luck to everyone anyways!

I haven’t gotten an email yet but NY Road Runners charged my bank account the entry fee about two hours ago. I’m hopeful of what this means but I’ll hold off on high-fives until I get the actual email.

I’ll be an official pacer again (provided my hip is all healed and I can get back to run training again before November rolls around!).

I’m in! It will be my first time to New York too.

Congrats! It will be a great day. No charge to my CC so I’m probably out for this year. I might have deferred it to 2015 anyway so no major disappointment. I ran the 40th running in 2009 and would really like to do the 45th in 2015.
