Q for coaches and trainers

I have been a fitness trainer (not tri, just general strength and fitness) for many years.

A bit bored and in a rut, I want to fire up the brain cells with some new course work. I have a B.S. in Kinesiology, a B.App. Sci in Human Movement (ex phys and sport psych), and ACE and ACSM certs. Admittedly, these were acquired some time ago; so, I’ve forgotten much of what I don’t use.

Do any of you have rec’ s for solid (as in science and research based) courses (ideally in person, but on line will suffice) which focus on general movement/kines/functional anatomy ? In other words, courses which educate on a general level which can be applied to all clients ?
Thanks.

Solidly backed in science and applicable to a variety of populations- both will make you think, and both are highly respected

– Any con-ed by Dr Shirley Sahrmann from Washington University- a PT and courses are directed to PT’s, but anyone working with individuals/movement can learn a lot from her courses

–Any con-ed by Dr Stuart McGill from University of Waterloo- a biomechanist

Both speakers present on their own. Also atch for both presenting also at various professional conferences- I’ve heard Dr Sahrmann at the PA Physical Therapy Conference and Dr McGill a # of times at NSCA conferences.

Both speakers also have a texts- great references- not to read cover to cover, but to read sections of periodically.
