RTC shifters for Ultegra 11?

I’ve got the standard DA bar end shifters and I’d really like to get back to an indexed shifter. I haven’t found anything by searching that’s compatible with the 11spd.

Thanks!

Thought I saw the 11sp D/A bar end shifter on a site yesterday. Can’t remember which one. Probikekit maybe.

The Dura-Ace bar end shifter is indexed.

Agreed, indexed was the wrong word (I was thinking about the FD) I would really like it to be RTC, stay in the same place, not have to reach all the way down / up.

Thoughts?

I’m in on this as well…Think something may be out for SRAM as I saw them on some pro bikes.

Exactly, the SRAM 11 speed R2C shifters already exist.

Essentially, I want these compatible with my Ultegra 6800 FD/RD.

Yep 10 Spd suck 11 should suck as well

Have you used R2C shifters? They are complete garbage. I had 4 sets break. I was able to get them replaced by warranty each time but after the 4th pair broke in the middle of a hilly 100 mile ride I got rid of them permanently. It’s great having the shift lever always centered but not worth the risk of them breaking in the middle of a ride or race. Your money is definitely better spent elsewhere.

I’ll admit, I have not. I just really didn’t like the travel with the levers. Maybe it’s just a comfort thing…

Do you run them with the shift cable on the top or bottom of the extension? I prefer mine with the cable on top. Depending on your aerobar, it may or may not allow internal routing like this but you can always drill if you find it works for you.

x (as many sets as I’ve seen)

I really like my R2C shifters, they changed the game big time for me. No problems at all. It’s kind of brutal to hear about all of these broken sets- so I can’t speak to that.

Not trying to be an ass (that comes naturally) but how are R2C shifters a big time game changer? I can’t imagine any possible performance benefit, but I can imagine a slightly preferred hand position for some riders.

Yeah, maybe “big time game changer” was a little over the top. They look super cool, fun to use and it’s nice to move away from the same bar end shifter technology that were on 1990s touring bikes. Other than that, they shift gears up and down just like anything else.
