Former stripper/escort filed suit on Monday in Dallas claiming she was assaulted in may or june 2009. Complaint here. I find this interesting because one the complaints are designed to set up an Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress rather than focusing on the alleged sex assault which was digital penetration. One of the IIED claims is that “victim” was in the room when Jerry got a BJ and she was forced to watch even though she didn’t want to.
Problems:
IIED issues are fairly weak
SOL has passed despite their attempt to draft around it by claiming that the SOL was paused while Jerry Jones was out of state at times. That is not what the out state rule is designed for.
Suing the Cowboys for Jerry Jones’ private actions is clearly an attempt to get more cash.
The allegation of the digital penetration was likely included simply to get around the passing of the SOL for a simple assault or IIED. When you allege Sex Assault it bumps the SOL to 5 years which would almost be enough time. If you read an article from the Friday before the filing there was no mention of a sex assault and just that Jones had the women removed from the club when they weren’t willing to “party.” But when you read the complaint the alleged assault/BJ show was before the club incident. It doesn’t jibe.
I bet they tried to get money out of Jones before this, he balked and their hand was forced and had to file suit. I bet Jones will (or at least should) fight this and show that while he may be a bad guy she cannot prove her case. But it should be fun to watch play out. At least more fun than watching ROmo throw more interceptions!

I went to a strip joint in Virginia in the mid 90’s. You had to crumple the bills up and throw them on stage, and they had a sign that said “please do no throw change”. There were a couple c-section scars that needed a roll of pennies up side the head to get them off stage immediately.
