SOLD Trek 2011 2.3 56cm road bike w/zipp aero bars-$700 in Chicago

Hey guys, heading into my second season of triathlon season and have decided on switching to a TT bike. What I’m posting here is a 2011 Trek 2.3. Great road bike, well reviewed, and has one season of Ironman training (and the bulk of those miles being on the trainer…easily 80% of them on the trainer). Never crashed etc. Upgrades I’ve made- the addition of the Zipp aero bars, bar end shifters, and
Conti tires-Grand Prix 4000 (only 112 miles put on them)

I kept the original drops on the bike as I originally intended to revert it back to a pure roadbike once I got my tri bike; however limited space and budget (hell…the Fenix 2 just came out) it prompting me to toss this up

Bought new for $1700 (I’m the original owner). Asking for $700. Feel free to PM me for any additional details. Also local pickup (Chicago) is preferred; however, if out of the market we can figure out shipping easily enough.

Edited to show size of frame: 56cm

Interested in your bike for my father. He lives in Elk Grove, by O’hare. What size is the frame.
Thanks,
Ryan

How hard is it to convert that bike back to a road set-up?

Not much to do at all. Just having the shifter cables moved back. I suppose you could also remove the aero bars if you wanted as well. They are simply clamped on.
