Stages Power Meter on a 2014 Speed Concept?

Is anyone using a Stages power meter on a new Speed Concept? Specifically, Shimano Ultegra 6800 (165’s) on a small frame. Based on the measurements, it doesn’t appear to be compatible, but wanted to double check…

I use a 170mm DA-9000 Stages on my '14 SC. Works fine. Are you worried about clearance between the sensor and the frame/BB?

Did they change the SC frame dimensions that much? My 165mm 105 crank works fine on my 2011 SC7.

Yes, exactly. This may not make a difference, but what size frame do you have? I’m assuming the DA-9000 and Ultegra-6800 are the same size, but I’ll look into that too. Thanks!

Large frame.

I have a 2014 medium 7.5 SC and the Stages fits fine, but that’s on a 172.5 crank arm (Ultegra 6800). I also use the DuoTrap with a Flo 90 and disc cover and that all fits back there too. I would think that you shouldn’t have any problems, but can’t say for sure with a small and 165 crank arm.

all 700c-based SC frames (S-M-L-XL) share exactly the same rear triangle geometry…so if a given crank (length, model) works on one, it should work on all. also, the shorter the crank arm, the less there should be an issue, as clearance increases (generally) the closer you get to the BB.

Thanks Carl and others for the feedback.
