I’ve decided to give q-rings a try and need to change out my current system.
Wondering if anyone has any experience regarding the chain/chain length. Im riding a 2013 Cervelo R3 with Shimano 10 speed Ultegra set.
Help is appreciated! Thanks

Even with the odd shape, the chainrings cant break the laws of physics so a 53 tooth oval ring will have the same circumference as a normal 53 tooth circular ring ie. use the same length chain as you have now (assuming you arent changing ring sizes). The only consideration is the front derailleur position and height.
Chain wont need to be changed, just front derailleur position. You may need a shim which you can find on ebay for pretty cheap, but you’ll have to play with it. I’ve been running them for 4 years or so and as long as you set up the FD correctly you won’t have any problems. I got a chain catcher just to be safe from dropped chains
x2… no change whatsoever!
enjoy it
