Typical disc stem length

So I have been wondering what most people do regarding a spare tube if you have a disc/808 or disc/404 (or something along those lines anyways) setup? Right now I have some sram s80’s on the front and back so it makes carrying a spare for races easy. I have always preferred the tufo valve extenders, instead of the adapters, (http://www.competitivecyclist.com/tufo-valve-extenders) and I just carry a spare that is set up with the same length extender already installed.

I dont own a disc yet, but they all seem to be in that 40-60 stem length range. If you that and say something that requires an 80 stem length up front, or even longer, what kind of spare tube set up do you carry at races? Just the length for the disc and them just the standard valve extender (like this http://www.bicyclebuys.com/item/1736426-48/zipp-valve-extension-48mm&utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=comparison-shopping&utm_campaign=Froogle?gclid=CJy6qO6utb0CFQWTfgodqAgAWw). I presume that is the case, but I just hated those zipp extenders so much when I used them, but then again this was years ago when I didnt even hardly know what I was doing.
Would love to hear what everyone else is doing.
Thanks

Wheelbuilder Aerojacket solves that problem and leaves you with a few $$$$ to spare
.

I simply use a short-stemmed spare to fit the disc, with a Topeak extender pre-installed for the deep-section front wheel (they come in both a medium and XL length for a 404/808). If I get a front flat, it’s ready to go as-is; if I get a rear flat, just unscrew the extender ~ easy peasy (easier that way to remove in a hurry than to carry it separately and screw on in a hurry).

I’ve been very happy with the Topeak extenders: aluminum (lightweight), internal o-ring so haven’t had leaking issues, and they have an internal shaft that allows you to unscrew/tighten the presta valve inside so it works pretty close to a normal stem.

Thanks. Sounds like you have the setup. I was hoping my question made sense and I wasnt rambing too much.
Thanks again.
