Was at @trimaniaexpo today. This race has a decent purse for age groupers. $4800 to be allocated to 1-2-3 placements by M & Fin both under and over 40. $600 for 1st, $400 for 2nd, $200 for 3rd. $125 primes for fastest swim splits and their King of the Mountains climb, same age, gender breakdowns. Might be a cool race to look at. June 8.
I did the race last year and loved it. There was a thread on here about it (it’s still here somewhere…) and reviews were very positive. It looks to be even better this year. I signed up for the off-road/Olympic combo this year.
It’s a terrific race. Beautiful course, challenging, great volunteers. Has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Highly recommended (and I’ve been to many, many WTC and Rev3 events as comparisons).
