anyone having any luck finding reasonably priced lodging? looks like we gotta stay 2 nights (friday and sat) and prices are running 300 bucks a night if not more.
anyone willing to house a low maint athlete? i’m willing to help pay for costs etc.

If you are willing to go off boardwalk, you have many options. I went super low budget, probably next to a by-the-hour arrangement, but it’s cheap as hell. I went near the swim start - Knights Inn.
If you have higher standards, well, AC on a summer weekend is going to be pricey. Unless you play blackjack at $25/hand and up.

It is about twenty minutes from the race but reasonable and a decent option

close to the finish is key for me as the last thing i want is to have to trek back 3 miles after a race. i presume there will be TONS of cabs in the morning heading to the race start.
