Anyone taken the newest Newtons out for a spin yet? I’m curious what people think about the 5th lug, and other changes, sizing etc…
I have. I noticed the lugs a bit at first but haven’t since my 1st run in them. My sizing was the same. They tried to have me size down a half size but it was too short. Stuck with the original size.
The lug isn’t a big change but the biggest thing is that the Gravity is way more cushioned. It’s a great feel but that cushion creates less of a responsive shoe. So for a person who really wants to benefit from the netwon lug ‘pop’ for serious racing you need to get the Distance or Distance Elite.
